"The hotel is perfectly situated for downtown events, but they don't rest on their laurels. The staff is well trained, efficient, and friendly. The mandatory basket service is seamless. Only complaint... Is that they use AI automated texts to communicate, but do not indicate it is AI. I replied to a text to indicate a change in our itinerary.. but No one monitored the text exchange... And it resulted in my reservation being cancelled. Thankfully there were open rooms and it was reinstated, but I was left pretty miffed...a prepaid reservation was cancelled? Because they texted me and never thought i might reply? Do better."

"This place was amazing! I got reasonable rate and was surprised to find even more amenities than were listed. The restaurant there was great from a grilled cheese to halibut. The staff was very helpful and gracious. The little store in there has all the basics. Don’t forget to tell them if you want them to clean your room every day. Lots of stuff was walking distance. We went and explored Mt. St. Helens. The drive wasn’t bad from the hotel. It was a great birthday trip for my son. He found other kids to play with in the pool every day we were there. The sauna is fantastic, but small. Make sure you try it. Thank you so much Heathman for making my sons 11th birthday positively memorable!!!"
