"Great wee weekend in Dunoon stayed in various hotels there but this was a surprise package, looking at the building might give the wrong impression of it. Beautiful old building which maintains a lot of its periodic charm and features but our room was very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Dillon and his partner were very welcoming and fully hands on at any request and with pup Willow on hand for cuteness made a great team to relate with even if her teeth are like needles, thats the pup not his partner :-) . Will definetly look for this hotel first the next time we go back to Dunoon. "

"This is our third stay here. The location is excellent, especially if you have kids. The green and the beach are right at the front of the hotel and the amusement arcades just a 2 minute walk along from it. The rooms aren’t as modern as you would expect for the cost and the shower and bath are a little worn looking round the sealant and the sofa bed wasn’t great but overall we had a good stay. The food in the restaurant is good it was our first time eating in it. They have an ok gluten free selection at dinner. I think breakfast is overpriced at £15 each regardless of whether you take the full fry or not. There’s a small selection of gluten free items but no actual gf offerings for the fry or pancakes and no kids breakfast so we did feel a bit robbed in that! "

"This is one of our favorite hotels in the world. Unparalleled views, and atmosphere. Beauty all around. We felt our room was not what we had reserved, so they gave us a choice of rooms, and we ended up in a beautiful space. Staff was very accommodating. Food is excellent. "

"Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. The house has a lot of character and original features. The view from our room was amazing, looking right out to the sea and Arran. You can walk through the back garden out onto a path along the sea front which also leads down to the beach, spent the morning after breakfast walking along it and enjoying the great weather! "
