"Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏"

"The staff are very friendly here with a genuine aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are set out motel style with each room having direct access to outside the property. "Next to a very busy, noisy road. Cobwebs in bedroom and bathroom plus a long dark hair on my hand towel, which I wiped on my face. The staff were very nice and the food was good though. I wouldn’t return due to cleanliness and noise"

"Amazing little place, definitely worth the stop :) Room was comfy in a cozy little town"

"The rooms were lovely and big, the only issues were that either the jacuzzi bath didn't work or we couldn't work out how to use it, as we couldn't find instructions. The windows are quite draughty and we couldn't work out how to turn off the bathroom light. However, the bed was very comfortable, there is a nice kitchenette, and it's very well situated!"

"Spotless huge room, lovely shower, fabulous breakfast and friendly staff."

"Lovely place and perfect for our need."

"Stayed for one night , the room was nice with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good (full English) and staff very good. This should be described as a Bed & Breakfast not a Hotel."

"Very good"

"The staff courtesy was good"
