"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Despite a minor initial mix-up, it was quickly forgotten once we settled in. The house was charming and amazing, with personal touches that made our stay special. The property was beautiful, featuring two streams and a waterfall, and its proximity to Cherokee and the national forest was a treat. The house was spotless and accommodated the four of us perfectly. The only challenge was the steep, unpaved rock road, but we became adept at navigating it after our intial climb up to the house. Thank you for providing such a clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared place. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return!"
Crashing Creek Cabin, Hot Tub, Mountain Views & King Bed!

"My brother and I are professional & experienced motorcycle riders. The good... This property came up because it is very close to the Blue Ridge parkway. The home is BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, quiet, secluded, clean, relaxing, has nice beds and is stocked with everything you need to stay comfortably for a long while.. the views throughout the day are wonderful and the creek below makes the most relaxing sounds. The area offers 2 nearby cities where you can find anything you need within minutes. The ONLY not so good about this cabin is the air conditioning, which we had to turn off. The noise from all 3 units were a high pitched squeal that after a few hours of arrival drove us crazy. We were lucky enough to have some great weather instead though.WHAT I WISH I KNEW... like I said we went for a motorcycle trip, hauling our bikes to the cabin. Unless you can turn your trailer by hand, this is not the area you want. These driveways are so steep and loose with dirt and gravel we had some real issues working with them and I did dump my bike for the first time in my life within 5 minutes on the first day, and that was going down! My brother, who is a professional sport bike racer and rider, had to take my bike UP every time because it was unmanageable for me, and I've been riding my entire adult life. The home and area are fantastic, but not really suited for a motorcycle trip. Our 2 cents. Thank you."

"I visited this property with my two brothers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cabin was very comfortable and well furnished. The view from the porch is wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-Fi is very good and needed since cell service is limited."

"We can’t say enough good things about Mountain Time! This is our third time staying here, and I believe it gets better each time!The cabin is impeccably clean! Kudos to housekeeper Angie! Be sure to leave her a nice tip when you stay. We sincerely appreciated the “little things”, such as paper towels, coffee pods, laundry supplies, Q-tips, tissues, and a little bowl of snacks! And of course the kitchen is well stocked. The decor is gorgeous, the setting is peaceful, and the whole vibe is just perfection. Mike is the ultimate host! Perfect communication. I’m sad to leave this morning, but hopeful that we’ll be back next year for a longer stay!"
Balsam Mountain Cabin with waterfalls and a great year round view

"The cabin was wonderful and met our needs, the views were beautiful, however there was no air conditioning. It was not listed in the description, we just assumed there was. We were on motorcycles and the main road leading up to the cabin was extremely steep and the driveway was gravel, but maintained. I cannot speak for women, but for three guys on motorcycles it was great."
