"The sirlion steak was cooked to perfection - best for a long time. The Nicky chalet was lovely, could have done with a paved pathway to get there and not grass, which I brought into the chalet on shoes, and the grass was wet in the morning to walk for breakfast and car park"

"We are visiting family who live down the lane. When we first arrived they had us in a room above the entrance. Since it was warm we kept the windows open but unfortunately could hear people as the exited the building. The owner allowed us to move to a quiet room. The owner,Dave, is wonderful. Allowed us an early check in. Dave is also the chef and did a stellar English breakfast!"

"Very near to a beautiful country side where to go for a walk and watch sunset. Only 10-15’ from city centre. Super clean, they make your room everyday without you asking and add everyday cookies and water."

"The hotel was clean, friendly and good value, the continental breakfast was plentiful. The staff were great and we got a parking permit which was great. However there was scaffolding around the building and around 9 am on the second day there was hammering and banging almost outside our window. We were not informed that this would be happening. Overall a lovely hotel and very close to everything in the town and I would stay again "

"This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon. Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a huge modern shower and large fluffy towels. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly. "Not happy as could not get hold of anyone to let me into the house/room. The outside condition is not great. Overgrown garden etc Not sure neighbours are happy about it being rented Tried to get refund but as hotels.com could also not contact the vendor they could not give me a refund."

"Lavender Lodge is a comfortable home away from home in a wonderfully quiet and private location. Even though next to the owners house, the lodge orientated to be nicely private with barely another property in sight. It contained everything needed for a comfortable stay and the bed is big enough to party in (also good for sleeping). The two friendly spaniels peering through the window to say hello were a bonus too."
