"My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect – the kind of stay that leaves you wanting to come back even before you've checked out! The Location: Absolutely unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches made a big difference. Honestly one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The Staff: Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, we were made to feel at home and very well looked after. "We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Troutbeck. The setting was peaceful, surrounded by scenic walking paths right outside the door—and plenty of adorable sheep along the way! It felt like a true countryside escape, yet it was just a short drive to Ambleside and Windermere, which made exploring the Lake District easy . The complimentary afternoon tea at the Old Post Office Tea Room was a nice touch.Just a note that although there is parking infront of the house, it could be used by the neighbors. We managed to get parking everyday we were there. "
