"Decent place to stay and good value for money so would recommend. No car parking which is made clear so no argument with that, however it’s worth being aware that Ambleside is busy so I ended up parking some distance away. Only negative would be the 8am breakfast time, as it was too late, so had to miss out both days. Annoyingly, the Ambleside in which is 100m away and owned by the same group is 7.30am which would have worked. Overall a decent place though"

"The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here."

"Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space."
