"The room was very clean , two fans which were much appreciated in this heat, lady on reception was helpful and friendly, the bus stop outside was very handy to get to the station and only a few stops. If I had to be picky the bed wasn’t overly comfortable for me , and I didn’t manage to get hot water in the shower but didn’t have time to mention on way out, I would stay again, beautiful park nearby also ."

"We had a perfect stay at the Alma! The staff were so helpful and really were the highlight of our stay. Our room was beautiful and in the middle of the heatwave was a perfect temperature. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a brilliant selection and we had dinner one evening and it was fab! This is such a great base for visiting London - was well connected by bus and train. Will Definitley be going back!"

"Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I did notice that although we had requested for the room to be cleaned we noticed that the bed was never made unless we made it ourselves. We got fresh towels however there was three of us staying so we always needed to request a third towel every time. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating and I can’t say enough good things about the location as far as walking to the local shops."

"The hotel was conveniently located. The size of the room was sufficient, but bare. The bathroom was a bit small and could have used more places to put things. Breakfast had good variety, but most of the food was packaged; not freshly made. Check in and check out were highly automated and it seemed that there was mainly someone staffing the front desk during breakfast. This felt cold to me, but others might find it helpful."
