"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "

"It is a great place for a family. Best view and best location if you don’t care about the noise that coming from the trains on the bridge, exactly above the room. We came as a couple so for the same price you can get a smaller room in a nice hotel, but if you are more than couple it is a great choice! The kitchen has all you need to cook a nice meal."

"There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. "The location was great. It was easy to get to all the sights we wanted to see. The apartment was a little musty and water was coming down onto the stove when it rained. There was also some mold in places. The noise from the restaurant below was a little bothersome until about 1am."

"Great place, slightly far from Porto district but the free shuttle provided by the hotel to & back compensates for that. Close to beach, loved the boardwalk to the beach. Both indoor and outdoor pool options. Great breakfast spread, Electric car charging on the property. All in all a great place to stay!! "
