"Complete tiled floor which initially seemed unusual but that does mean its cleaner. I was happy to find there wasnt a damp smell in the bathroom. Ive been searching for a hotel that smells clean and this room certainly did, so I shall be staying here in future. My room was quiet even though hotel seemed busy. No view but that didnt bother me. "I absolutely loved this hotel and the location! The staff was always very kind and very accommodating. I absolutely loved the breakfast buffet, it was well-maintained and everything was always fresh. I loved the hotel room. I only wish there was air-conditioning but other than that everything was great."

"Absolutely spot on. We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size). "Location was perfect for Tamworth Town, as soon as I arrive quite late in the evening I was greeted by a friendly smile and the WIFI code was given to me as a priority, perfect no one want to hunt or ask for the code. Keys were explained for access, I decided to have a pint or two before bed, the locals in the bar were extremely friendly and included me in their conversations, made me feel very welcome. "Old carbon monoxide alarm are a problem with alarm going off at 2am aparently this is due to 2011 old wiring its a fault staff know about and pass off lightly as oh it maybe dust. we turned off air con as a precaution not great for the price paid. Restaurant staff were lovely as was the food overall nice stay that could of been great but hotel is showing its age and is in need of refurn in places"
