"Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Bed was VERY firm; uncomfortably firm. But otherwise was a 10/10 stay and we would stay there again as a first choice."

"The apartment was clean. It had a full kitchen with all the utensils and dishes needed. My husband was able to cook us a nice steak dinner in the kitchen. The smoke alarm is right by the kitchen so he set it off. The staff was very prompt to respond. So helpful advice if you cook anything that might get smoky open as many windows as you can. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The only recommendation I have is the bedroom door has privacy glass in it so any light you have on in the apartment shines through it. It is hard to sleep if someone stays up or to leave a night light on. I would recommend a black out curtain or a solid door. The 18th floor restaurant with its city views was very nice. We did not use the pool or the hot tub so I cannot review that. I would stay again and I do recommend this hotel."

"The room and bathroom were clean but the bathroom fan was not working. I needed help with the coffee machine but a repair man came by right at the beginning of his shift to get the machine working. Magic fingers? All in all a very basic room but acceptable."

"I was absolutely amazed by the amenities at the Red Lion Inn! The full kitchen and bath made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient, just like having our own little home base. The location is perfect—right on the Galloping Goose Trail, so we could step out and enjoy beautiful walks whenever we wanted. The cleanliness throughout the property was spotless and impressive. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Their helpfulness and kindness were next-level. When my wife had a headache, I asked the front desk for some Advil, and they were so kind and helpful—they gave me some right away with a warm smile. The staff are absolutely phenomenal! This place is truly the gem of Victoria. We loved every minute and will definitely be back!"
