"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

"This villa is perfect. From the port of Ischia it’s a 20min walk or 5min with a scooter/car. The rooms are always clean with a terrace that has an unbelievable view of the coast of Napoli. Next to the villa they have their restaurant Nibili. They have delicious food and drinks/wine all fresh from natural products of the island. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. They all speak both italian and english. I had a perfect week here, it’s really worth it staying here! "

Only a short 10 minute walk from the port so very convenient for shops/dining options, and the bus station is only a 5 minute walk away for easy transport options around Ischia. "Hotel in cui tornerei sicuramente per un altro soggiorno a Ischia. Raggiungibile a piedi dal porto in 15 minuti, lontano dal macello della via principale, fronte spiaggia (piú o meno a 5 metri di distanza da stabilimenti e spiaggia libera). Colazione ottima con scelta al buffet ma servizio al tavolo. Unica piccola pecca per qualcuno che dovesse essere particolarmente pretenzioso, camera piccolina e non tanto insonorizzata. "All the family were very hospitable. They even carried our heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Breakfast was excellent. They introduced us to the Ischian cornetto- an extra special pastry that combines brioche and a croissant. Bedroom was spacious but on a noisy road and bed was rather firm but ok for a few nights. Basic accommodation only 10mins to the port on a bus. "
