"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

"Beautiful property with quirky decor - very clean and a fantastic shower. Pastries and coffee breakfast was delicious. Only a short 10 minute walk from the port so very convenient for shops/dining options, and the bus station is only a 5 minute walk away for easy transport options around Ischia. "Love the Hotel Floridiana. Have stayed here at least three times. The decor is cool and refreshing. The large swimming people is wonderful, temperature comfortable to stay in for hours. Located on the Main Street, near restaurants and shops. "

"My friends and I had a great stay here, it is the perfect place to stay while in Ischia as the staff are all very nice, the breakfast is very good as is the pool area, and it is only about a 15-20 minute walk from the main port in Ischia. Highly recommended!"

"Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Hjälpte oss att ringa hyrbilsföretaget, gav tips om bra restauranger och utflyktstips. Bra standard på rummet men badrummet skulle behöva en uppfräschning. Men negativt att vi måste betala för handduk den dagen vi hade checkat ut och hade sen avgång och ingen tvål fanns att tillgå!"

"The grounds were beautiful. It is not walkable outside of the hotel so you need to take a bus or get a cab if you do not have a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only big issue were the rooms. Ours was very moldy, even the mattresses had mold on them. "
