"The property is beautiful and true farm to table dining but therefore a limited menu. The private cassitas are lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and private patio. However the bed creaked getting in and out and whenever you moved and the mattress was so hard I barely slept. The hot tub was too scalding hot to actually enjoy but the setup was stunning. "

"It's very out of the way, a little hard to find, but beautiful. Not fancy, clean, rustic. Cute. Great breakfast. Only one restaurant close by, but they told us that the other restaurants deliver. There is a 'kitchenette' in the room, so you can bring some groceries if you like. Or reheat leftovers. "

The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. "The house and grounds are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous looking over the lake. Pool was fantastic. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Check in easy and there was even a welcome basket with fruit. Would stay again. The only thing people need to know is that it is 45 min to La Fortuna even though it looks closer on the map. This didn’t bother us but if you are expecting to just pop in and out of town you need to plan accordingly from a time perspective."

"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with seeing wildlife in the surrounding rain forest. He delivered our daily breakfasts with his car…..a short drive from his house to our cabin. Refreshed our sit-in pool during our stay. Upon our request….gave us coffee for the coffee maker. Very friendly owner…..enjoyed chatting about wildlife!"
