"Our stay was very home-like, safe, and comfortable."

"This property was not as we expected. The floor was disgustingly dirty, the dishwasher had food particles in it and smelled horrible (plus no dishwashing detergent to run a cycle), 1 roll of toilet paper, no replacement garbage bags, and opened food packages in the kitchen cabinets. I communicated these things to the owner and although he took forever to get back to me he did have someone drop off toilet paper, garbage bags, and dishwasher pods. "This is a cute little duplex in a quiet residential neighborhood, and a short drive to downtown shops/restaurants. The house was clean; the kitchen is small but stocked well enough for cooking basic meals. Hosts were very helpful with a few questions we had ahead of our stay."

Downtown St. Louis hotel

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the furnishings were really lovely. The lobby, bar, and game room on the first floor were very nice; the pool and fitness center in the lower level were beyond our expectation; and the art gallery on the 2nd floor was amazing. Our only criticisms come from it being an older building - the air conditioning cooled the room, but actually over-cooled it, and then when the air con turned off, it got too warm before it kicked back on. It left us alternating between too hot and sweaty to then too chilly and needing a blanket at night. In one of our rooms the shower handle came off and we reported it to the front desk; they put it back on but it came right off again. We had dinner our first night at the restaurant Idol Wolf - fantastic food and service. We really enjoyed our dinner. Overall it was a great stay at this lovely hotel. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very clean. Manager VERY responsive. Front clerks friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and free afternoon happy hour. Free parking. Close to Union Station and not far from the Arch. You can see it from the top 4 floor hallways."
