"I really wanted to give this property 5 stars but I had to take one off simply because the rooms, at least our room, was very outdated and the bed extremely uncomfortable. I will say that the views from this property are breathtaking and we were in love! It is a short walk to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The food at the restaurant was also quite good! My only disappointment was the room condition and bed. Otherwise, wonderful property! "

"Very nice garden for our toddler to walk around and play with toys they provided. Staff very friendly and always ready to help , btw they gave us a free upgrade. The rooms were clean and comfortable , could use a better soundproof for the walls jus as a suggestion. The trails were amazing, but some signs need to be fixed. Nice cabin, not in La Fortuna itself...
"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep — there were a lot of ants/termites that appeared in our kitchen and a bad smell came up through the drain in the bathroom. It's also worth noting that despite the tranquil pictures the property is next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic throughout the night."
