"The home itself is thoughtfully laid out, such that everyone could find 'space,' if desired, in addition to the eight bedrooms; with views of the lake and orchard and the scent of roses and jasmine everywhere. The caretakers were attentive and quick, but unobrtrusive. The kitchen was well stocked, equipment-wise, with some spices & condiments. "Positives - The villa is beautiful, perfect views over the lake. The swimming pool was fantastic to have in the hot summer days and with the umbrellas up gave us adequate shade from the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with all things that we would need. The bathrooms were well appointed and lovely. It was such a plus to have the air conditioning on at night as it never really got cool. "We rented Villa Bougainvillea for 12 nights and had a wonderful time! The kids were rarely out of the pool. The pool was a perfect size for four kids aged 4-13 and had a good cleaning system so always felt fresh. Rooms were spacious and with sturdy furniture. The host (A.) was quick to answer any questions on WhatsApp. Good with a car since the road up to the house is steep, but this is well compensated by the gorgeous view."
