Ideally situated for the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain, in a quiet neighbourhood. 30 minutes walk to the Colosseum and Forum and 45 to St Peters. We booked a 'superior' double room so had enough space, and a reasonable sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental buffet breakfast had everything we needed, but occasionally some items ran out (depending on what time we arrived ), the staff also ran the adjacent coffee shop so it could take a little time for items to be replenished. It was the second time we have stayed at this hotel - however it is more like a 3 star than a 4 star - some of the decor is looking tired and the facilities are limited (no gym/pool/terrace bar). As a 4 star you also pay a premium on the city tax (which was 90 euro).

There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. More like negative 4. Property covered in mold. We booked two rooms. Both are in terrible condition. Complained to staff, they offered us other rooms that were in same or worse condition. Pictures speak for themselves. Requested refund and went to another hotel the same day we checked in. Took Expedia two weeks to refund because hotel disputing condition. Expedia didn’t compensate for the inconvenience in any way because they said they got me a refund on a non refundable booking. Poor customer service to a Platinum member.

This should be 2.5 star, not 4 star. we booked classic double bed room, got room 104 which is tiny compare to what shows in the pictures. Bathroom had mold all over, and it's shower has half gated meaning when you shower the water spills all over the bathroom, terrible design, very very very uncomfortable. But the staff were very helpful, they changed our room to a better one, 204, it is way better, bathroom bathtub still has half covered, water still spills when shower, no molds tho very convenient to walkable of lot of restaurants, shopping, attractions, etc. Elevator is very very very tiny, same tiny space hall way, its hard to roll the standard check-in bags Overall, bad experience, do NOT recommend this hotel with this price, hope its helpful

The Home Away from Home I Needed

The location was absolutely perfect. Not on a main street, but just busy enough outside that I felt comfortable walking home alone from the nearby Spanish Steps Metro station at 23:00. The breakfast plan is excellent, with foods of various cultural approaches to this first meal of the day (Italian, American, etc.). The room for one was large enough--for one. The daily service to the room (clean-up/replenishments made the room like new upon daily return (unless I opted for "do not disturb" the room that day). I would strongly consider this hotel again. I would seek out staying at their other properties in various countries as well.
