"A spacious and very comfortable stay at Cherry Tree Cottage.The location was perfect to explore the delights of the coast and discover magical attractions such as Hidden Valley. Given a clear sky the views of the stars was incredible.The host, Sarah was so welcoming, if we needed anything she was nearby. The pool was an absolute hit after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend."

"A really cosy cottage, located "in the middle of nowhere", so blissfully quiet and peaceful.The owners (who are so friendly) live next door and nothing was too much trouble - we had a few snags such as loud interference from the TV and the main shower packing up halfway through our stay - but we were well looked after and none of it affected our stay. One or two bits and pieces could do with some updating or maintenance, but on the whole we couldn't fault our stay and we had the best sleep in years!The only negative to point out would be the narrow lanes leading to the farm. At some points the lane narrows to just about the width of a car, so with the hedges not cut back, sticks and brambles do stick out and run along the side of the car - by the end I had a number of faint scratches running the length of my car - sometimes we actually stopped to bend them back! My car is 8 years old so I wasn't overly concerned but I wouldn't want to drive a brand new car here. During the full week we only met one vehicle, which was lucky as with few passing points reversing round tight corners may be required. That point aside, as so few vehicles use the lane, if you're looking for a quiet, cosy stay off the beaten track with lovely owners, then I'd definitely recommend booking this cottage. Just also remember to get plenty of provisions in as it's a long way to the nearest supermarket!"

"The hut was in a gorgeous location with sheep as neighbours. It was super cosy and comfortable and had all that we needed. Sat outside in the sun having our brekkie was lovely. The hot tub was great but took ages to heat up, maybe as it was a bit damp. We had a lovely time :) "

"Quite superb Grade 1 Listed Medieval Hall House, truly exceptional, hardly a right angle, level floor or vertical wall anywhere, expertly restored. Outstandingly well-provided and comfortable. Excellent for children - every conceivable nook for hide and seek, good sized garden, lots of games provided. Faultless. Do not book if you do not appreciate history, quietude, remoteness, and if you want your life filled with modern gadgets. "
