While the journey off the beaten path is for the adventurous, the reward is immeasurable; I never wanted to leave. The villa served as a fantastic base for exploring western Sicily. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly connecting with the incredible hosts, Paul and David – two truly amazing people we feel blessed to have met. "Host Paul Mahoney goes beyond in care, warmth and hospitality. House fully equipped, spectacular setting. Only challenge is the rutted, single track (3-4 km) road which would be a challenge for many traveller’s. A 4-wheel drive is a MUST to make it up to the villa "
