"Buffet breakfast was on the colder side (for instance, the grilled mackerel was not hot enough), but the udon was very good- we had 2 servings - and the pastries with whipped butter and marmalade were yummy. The Japanese breakfast served in the cozy restaurant on the basement floor was very good - its tofu simmering in soy milk broth which could be enjoyed to the last drop was very interesting as it was our first encounter with this dish (gotta wait 5 minutes (for the tofu to be ready), said the staff) and needless to say, it was oishi! There’s a water dispenser outside the rooms, you might need to walk a long way depending on where your room is. Everything was new, even the cups and glasses smelled like they just came out of their boxes. So washing before use is needed😉 We stayed in a twin room with additional bed (sofa bed), so space for opening 3 medium size luggages was limited. Check-in machines that generated card keys on the spot was cool. We paid the 1200-yen per head of hotel tax in cash. Staff can speak English, so we could understand each other. 😊"

"What a wonderful hotel! It was clean, great location, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the amenities were fantastic! they provided complimentary drinks, happy hour, tea time, and late night rice bowl dish. The public bath was fabulous. The only downside was the gym was quite sparse. Otherwise, I highly recommend!"

"Located right on top of Kitahama Subway it is in an ideal location , note if you are travelling from kiyoto and are bringing your luggage you can walk underground from yodoyabashi to kitahama in aprox 12 minutes . Use kitahama 4 for the elevator and walk 2 mins to the hotel. Check in / out was self service . Breakfast on the 1st day was superb but on the 2nd day hit&miss as there was insufficient staff to refill the multiple empty food stations ie egg / croissant /cheese/cuttlery ."

"Hotel was great. Easy check in at 9pm. No line, unlike the mid-day crowd. We stayed in a quad room. Big enough, but a weird lay out. The toilet in the room hall and shower/sink in a nook. We stayed on the 24tj floor where the gym and shared laundry are located. Laundry was easy to use, accepts 100yen coin only (700 for the wash and dry cycle). If you will use this, shared laundry etiquette is necessary! Set a timer and return promptly to gather your clothes! I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come get their stuff, that is unbelievably rude to others needing to use the amenities. That was literally the only hiccup. Everything else was fantastic."
