"Beautiful hotel with two restaurants. Our room had a pretty view of the river. Toledo is close to Lake Erie and some great places for birding. The valet parking worked really well. I was surprised that the parking was a separate charge. The area is beautiful but deserted. Not much within walking distance. "

"Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located in downtown next to the ballpark and in the middle of the vibrant downtown scene. Plenty of options for food/drink/entertainment! A must stay place!"

"Very affordable clean, dog friendly place to stay. For the price...it exceeded my expectations. It is a little out dated, but it was clean...I kinda like the nostalgia of the hotel..i was surprised when we arrived kinda late, around 11:30, that there was a small bar with a bar tender still there. Cute little atea for breakfast.. I was your typical free breakfast. Nothing special..Biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, some cereal and fruits, etc..The pool was a nice size indoor pool that kids would love. Lots of seating around the pool. Our room was clean. Nice size. Comfortable bed. No carpet, which i love. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and quiet, but what really makes this location top tier are the people who work there. Thank you so much to Pam and the folks working from May 17-19th 2024. "The best part was the excellent bed and overall cleanliness of the linens, room, and public areas. The check-in was slow, even though I'd already paid online weeks before and the staff was not very engaging. This property is apparently undergoing massive renovation, so much of it was closed off, including the pool. The entry portico was damaged and parts were laying about on the ground. Based on first appearances and check-in, I was unsure about staying there the full 3 nights we had reserved. However, the room was a pleasant surpise. Small, especially the bathroom, but the shower was good, the fridge worked (even re-froze my ice packs), and the key card worked easily. Note: even though the website didn't mention complimentary breakfast, a modest one was available in a large and comfortable room. "
