"I booked a room for an overnight layover in Portland. I called for the shuttle from the airport and the lady was very kind and thorough on the phone. The shuttle arrived quickly and the check in process was quick. The bed was comfortable for the few hours I was able to sleep. Free coffee in the morning- life saver!"

"We really enjoyed our stay - they give you a complimentary drink including alcohol from the bar and bread and soup every evening. Because of the fires in Oregon we had to change our plans and they were able to accommodate us for 2 additional nights. Staff are always cleaning. Excellent hot breakfast and many choices - example fresh fruit - bananas, apples or oranges. Highly recommend them."

"We just stayed one night after flying into Portland. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast was really good, my Wife and I enjoyed it!"

"Would have rated 5 stars but parking was a nightmare. Apparently they let people from the surrounding area park there even though they aren't guests. Couldn't find any street parking so had to pay $20 in a lot. That lot expires at 5am, so had to get up at 5, move car to parking lot where luckily a spot had opened up. During that, saw a voucher in another car on the paid lot that said 'guest of Eastside lodge'. Why weren't we offered a voucher? 2 different staff people knew we were having issues. And coffee pot was empty in the morning when we checked out. The room was fine but these little things are why I can't give it a 5. Just get there early I guess."
