"In general we were happy with this property. One thing -- the nor'easter -- was not your fault, but it cast a pall on the trip. ON THE OTHER HAND, you had plenty of indoor activities available to us.Unless I'm mistaken, your intro lacks an index of accessibility, and it would be nice. My wife has a lung condition and my balance and strength are compromised by a back injury, AND THE NUMBER OF STEPS WAS A PROBLEM. Had we known, we might not have rented, but no matter, we adjusted.We had a problem the first night with an unflushable master toilet and a slow-draining master shower. You sent a plumber within an hour of our calling the next morning, and he snaked the toilet and fished out a bar of soap and a ton of TP that was backed up behind it. He also said he cleared the shower drain of a big hairball, but the shower never drained very well. Might want to check that. But we still very much appreciated the plumber, plus he was a funny guy.Small thing: More hanging storage needed in the master suite. Two closets has been locked for the owners' things (completely understandable) but that left only a small wardrobe in the bedroom in which outfits were not able to hang freely. Would we stay here again? Probably not, because of the stairs. For younger folks it would be delightful. Would we rent from this property's owner if the owner had another property available and was compatible? Absolutely. We appreciate renting from good stewards."

"The Sanderling is a nice resort. It sits on the beach and has a great view of the sun rise in the mornings. The staff is very friendly. They will happily setup chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you. The resort is a bit dated. The fencing around the property is aged. The room was very nice and clean. There are a lot of dead bugs and spiders everywhere. The balcony sliding door has dead bugs in the slider which could use a clean up. We did not use the amenities like the pool, hot tub, or gym. There are two close by restaurants next door and across the street. The drinks at the outdoor bar were a bit outrageous. One virgin pina colada and one margarita was $40 with tip. Overall a nice resort but a bit overpriced in my opinion."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have asked for. The location was perfect, and the property was even better than we expected. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommend!"

"House was in a great location, views of the sound was amazing, dock, and easy walk across the street (5 min walk) to the beach. Needed some pest control, as ants and spiders were everywhere outside and inside. Cleanliness could be better… laundry room / car port area was a mess lights didn’t work under the house, luckily we brought a camping lantern to get laundry out in the dark, old unused chairs and stuff laying around. Outside corner motion light could be adjusted to provide light to parking area, as it only came on when car entered driveway The screened in porch area is falling apart and grill was nasty (we had to clean it before we could use it)."
