"Clean, fresh scents even the linens."

"Our first impressions were not great. After checking in, we went to our room exhausted from a day of travel and helping to pack our daughter's apartment. I washed my hands in the bathroom only to grab a towel to dry and found a huge wad of someone else's hair in the towel! A few minutes later, my husband had to catch a big bug on the wall. I can't comment on the staff because other than the man who checked us in who was efficient but not overly warm, we saw nobody. The bed was pretty comfortable...

"The room smelled weird and musky. The staff was really nice and tried bringing in an air ionizer but the old AC emitted a strange smells my husband fell sick after that."

"The location is great. The amenities are very good too. Love the parking. We did have a very noisy air conditioner that with the rain sounded like a popcorn machine all night."

"Very basic lodging option"

"Property was absolutely amazing. We fell in love with the area and our stay at the William Jefferds House was perfect. Love the breakfast and amenities in the house. We took advantage of the free bicycle use. Definitely on our list to return."

"Great place with great staff."

"My favorite place to stay in Southern Maine. Helpful staff and clean. Love the hot tub and outdoor pool as well. Breakfast is good and staff around to support guests in the dining room area. Overall great experience. 🤍"

"Wow! Just wow! One of the best Hotel/Resorts we have ever stayed in. The attention given to guests is above & beyond. Food is phenomenal. Grounds are cozy and well taken care of. You’ll definitely want to come back, I know I do."
