"I stayed here for I think four nights and I was very comfortable and very happy to be in the neighbourhood that I was in. An old chatacter neighbourhood, within walking distance to the lake, downtown, grocery stored and within driving distance to a lot of nearby attractions that I wanted to visit. I enjoyed the whimsical, artistic folksy feel of the unit. It was clean had everything that I needed to be comfortable to cook some light meals and beautiful outside private sitting area under a natural canopy of ancient trees. The host was very helpful, answered all my questions, suggestions of places to see and yeah I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Only one thing I was not comfortable on the mattress. I prefer a firmer mattress. But that would not stop my from staying there again. "
"Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency.
Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not impressed. Learn from mistakes. Will probably delete app as I feel I got .

Still $ lots for a shoe box for a room and a view of a brick wall .
