"Beautifully appointed property with lovely views. Wonderful kitchen with anything one could need or want, including a thoughtful array of small appliances, cookware, and dishes. Comfortable great room, porches and deck were ready for relaxing inside or out. Linens and towels were all of excellent quality. Beds were comfy and furniture was sturdy and well cared for. Communication with owners clear and prompt. Truly rural location may not be for everyone, but we couldn’t imagine a more restful spot for actually stopping and giving ourselves time to just BE. "

"My brother's daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Bluebird Farm in Medusa. So my 2 sisters and I stayed at the Gentlemen's Farm with our spouses, adult children and their plus ones, 11 in all, for 4 days. We thoroughly used and enjoyed all aspects of the home and grounds. Other extended family members came by to reunite each day so we were able to host them in a very comfortable and well appointed gathering place. The fire pit at night, the amazing porch and view as well as the living room, kitchen and back patio BBQ area all were very well used. Everyone complimented the property and remarked on it's fabulous qualities.THE KITCHEN IS AMAZING. I am a chef and restaurateur, so I know. Spent a lot of time in their and we had fresh eggs from the coop every day!!Never met the owner's but they called to check on us, helped us out and gave us all the privacy we needed."

"This home is a perfect place to stay for vacation. I would recommend making an effort to travel to Waterlo and staying here. It’s close to Huyck Preserve and Thatcher Park for hiking and plenty of other spectacular places to play outside. And it’s close to Albany. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating to all our needs and questions. They recently renovated this house and did a really great job making it feel spacious and welcoming. It’s immaculately clean and has all the features needed for cooking a gourmet meal or warming up soup in the microwave. I am so happy we found this home for our stay. We attended a concert at the local church with local musicians and explored parks and wandered the local area on our walks. I give the owners the highest praise for mastering the art VRBO. "

"Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT the kitchen is shared by the caretaker or other guests. Our caretaker was delightful and good company, but we didn't realize when we rented that we'd be sharing. Wouldn't make a difference, and we'd definitely go back.it definitely added to the charm. He was very accommodating and helpful. I think it would be clearer if this home was listed as a B&B. Don't let that stop you, it was a fun experience, very close to town, and filled with so much fascinating history. We can't wait to go back in the other seasons. "
