"We spent a full week in the comfort of Melfort Village. Walled Garden Mews No.9 was extremely comfortable for the four of us. We would not hesitate to return for a second holiday there. The apartment was well equipped and very roomy with a wonderful view down to the loch. WiFi in the Walled Garden Mews was excellent. "In a week of rain we managed to find many dry days. The location of the village was outstanding with views of the loch and an abundance of birdlife ( I counted 40 species in the area in the week). Melfort has great access to the isles through Oban and the coastline along the A 816 offers opportunities for gardens (Arduaine) and loch views from Ardfern.
