Tamarindo Bay is perfect for swimming and offers waves for all levels
of surfers. The wide white sand beach is ideal for strolling, shell-
collecting, playing volleyball, or simply sitting and watching the sunset.
People from all over the world call our community home, making it a
fascinating melting pot of cultures and restaurants that offer a
smorgasbord of cuisines. The town has over 200 options, if you include
sodas (simple snack bars) and bakeries! Tamarindo is famous for its
lively bars, many offering live music. In addition, the town boasts
countless shops, a skate park, and basketball, tennis and pickleball
courts.

Tamarindo is a 75 minute drive from the Liberia airport. RPM can help you
arrange a car to pick you up and help with a rental car. Taxis and Ubers are also available.
Casa Colina del Mar sits on a tranquil hillside, above the bustling town
of Tamarindo. Wake to birdsong from the over one hundred species
that have been spotted from the terrace, while taking in one of the most
spectacular views in the area!
Check out the surfers while lounging in the salt water infinity pool. Enjoy
delicious Costa Rican coffee on the covered patio, where you may spot
the clan of howler monkeys that often travels through the trees, on the
hillside below. And be on the lookout for the occasional whale passing
through Tamarindo Bay.
--On the first level of the main house you’ll find the spacious vaulted-
ceiling living room, a powder room, and a gracious dining room,
adjoining the generous kitchen, featuring Brazilian marble on the
countertops and island.
--Upstairs, the luxurious primary suite consists of a vaulted-ceiling
principal bedroom with a bougainvilla-covered Juliet balcony, and a
large bathroom (with an ocean/s view from the shower), a dressing
room and a den/office/sixth bedroom.
--On the lower level, down a short flight of poolside stairs, there is a
large living room with a 65” TV, two additional bedrooms overlooking the
ocean, and a shared bathroom.
The property is fully enclosed and has parking for 3 vehicles, 2 small cars and one large.
The laundry room is in the garage, near the (automatic) front gate. Juan
Carlos, our caretaker who oversees the gardening and cleaning, lives in
an apartment on the second story. He generally leaves at 6:00 AM for
his job as the day manager of Nogui’s, (one of the most popular
restaurants in town) and is usually home in the evening. Fluent in
Spanish and English, he is a great source for local information.
Our gardener Miguel, works mornings, except Sunday and our very
discreet housekeeper, Erica, comes twice a week. She is happy to
make fresh juices, cut up fruit or cook local specialties for a modest fee.
If you prefer daily housekeeping, you can arrange that with RPM. They
also offer comprehensive concierge services and can help with airport
shuttles, car rentals, grocery delivery, chef services, and even schedule
tours and activities.
