"Stay was nice except for not having hot water (which was quickly sorted out by the hosts when notified - hot water switch being in locked cupboard). Its a bit if a walk into the town or to the beaches so we ended up driving."

"It was really hard to communicate with the property manager. I kept on messaging yet no reply. Did not receive my Bach information until on the day of booking. The house was very smelly and had cockroaches everywhere. The dishes and cutlery were dirty too. The place is beautiful and few minutes walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Was a great trip away. Just not happy with communication and cleaning."

"Although this property is within easy access to the beach and the river we found the bedrooms lacked storage space, the outdoor furniture was very difficult to manage as it is heavy, unstable and hard to move. Being able to spend as much time as possible outside is important for a family. We used the bar b que and found only 2 burners worked. One of the bedrooms had not been cleaned properly when we arrived and there was glass on the floor in the childrens room causing an injury luckily to an...

"Absolutely gorgeous little spot, and the Kanuka Cabin was really lovely, took me and my Fiancée right back down on a trip to memory lane to our childhoods. Has everything you need for a nice getaway, Far enough from town that all you hear is the Tūī and Fantails with the sound of the creek, and close enough to be at the beach in 5 minutes.
