"While we love this hotel, this stay was frustrating! Between the constant clanging and banging day and nite and then our soaker tub not being able to hold water, on our anniversary weekend… no matter if we turned the knob left or right the tub would not hold water. We resulted in stuffing a wash cloth in the drain and refilling it several times! We chose Tacoma and this hotel for our anniversary weekend and it could have been better more like the last time. Upon letting staff know during checkout, he seemed apologetic though I am not sure this will be corrected. He explained the clanging and banging was due to the elevator mechanical room on the 26th floor(our suite was on the 24th) but the last 2 times we stayed in the same room we did not have this issue. I am frustrated that we had issues ok our special occasion especially because we love this hotel! "

"OMG! An absolutely PERFECT city stay; loved every minute of it. Sooooo convenient - from x the street, it’s quick and easy to get to downtown Seattle or direct to the airport…each only 5! (Even less for Senoirs, students, etc). Or 5 for a local ALL DAY bus pass all around town…including ALL the fab Tacoma museums! The condo is the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at, and was chock full of really thoughtful surprises, like the borrowable umbrella, and coffee, and little snacks, and eucalyptus shower tab. WOW! The friendly, well fed two feral cats outside were an added JOY! Highly recommend neighborhood strolls through the campus of U of Puget Sound…both breathtaking and adorable. The PO, library and Safeway (grocery) are just a 36 min walk away, and seeing the charming area is so worth it, I did that twice! The tiny electric “fireplace” felt like a comfy, magical feature! Jenell is the most responsive host ever. The shower is tiny…but had a rainfall head and plentiful hot water. Bed was clean and comfy. Fun easy walk to High Voltage Records, 2 bookshops, many thrift places, good Indian food, and a yum burger truck (Bomb Burgers). Having a dedicated parking space was amazing, and I’m glad that I could’ve made cookies if I were in the mood. It IS a *CITY* vacation but the place is tucked in the back, so quieter than expected, and overnights were silent. The convenience store next door was handy, you wouldn’t know it’s there. The laundry room was FAB! 2 thumbs WAY up! Will be back!!!"

"Charming house with all the amenities and a great location. We loved the special touches in the decor and the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Overall a very nice stay for a couple of nights.However, check in was stressful as the code given was incorrect and we couldn't get hold of anyone via phone to help us. Finally after almost an hour we were let in by the host.Also, the description of the home did not say anything about tenants living upstairs or shared space. After hearing footsteps on our ceiling very early in the mornings which would wake us up did we realize someone was upstairs. It would be helpful to know the space is shared for future renters."

"We sat outside in the car for more than 20 minutes, tried to contact the host, before we got a message from them saying we were being "relocated" and to talk to Expedia, who wasn't able to help. All in all, that was an hour of my life I'll never get back, which could have been prevented if the host had taken a minute to let us know ahead of time that the place was no longer available. Plus the backyard was littered with mildewing debris."

"Super cute and clean house. Easy parking out front. The back deck was a great place to sit and drink coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Close to restaurants and night life. Host was super responsive!"

"Arrived to the property to find the host living inside. Was also unaware this is a rent3d room of a house as pictures and the listing are deceiving since host is not transparent about this being a shared space. The house was a mess. The host was a mess. The communication was a mess. Double books via other platforms. Beware there is something sketchy afoot."
