"The staff was very nice and accommodating. I checked in and the room I was put in had an unpleasant smell due to something in the carpet. I let them know about it and they put me in a different room and was very nice about it. The area is convenient very close to all amenities and a nice coffee shop Called the red tracks."

"We are regulars at the Clover Island Inn and love it there. We love that the place is clean, the staff is top notch, the windows to our room open (a must for us), there are nice views of the Columbia river and bridges, good places to walk our dog. The Crows Nest restaurant there is closed as they make renovations, but Cedars next door is a wonderful restaurant with a dog friendly space outside. We're concerned about rumours of the Hilton buying it - it is quirky, and we love it for that reason - hoping it won't be turned into a plastic heremtically sealed sterile chain motel. If they are smart, they will support the quirkiness and keep it as an affordable option for dog lovers."
