"Beach is amazing right in doorstep great sea views. I have stayed at this hotel more than 10 times this year I love it pool, sauna ,steam and gym free for guests even free parking . Staff are friendly apart from one of the leisure staff see if u can guest which one"

"Everything fine about this hotel. Only complaint is the £23.40 it cost us to park in St Mary’s Car Park opposite the hotel. It’s the closest car park. And that was from 3pm through to 10.30am the following morning. So not even 24 hrs. Surely the hotel could offer a preferential rate or some discount ? Sunderland City Council should be ashamed of themselves charging such ridiculous amounts. "

"A lovely flat close to all the amenities and transport hubs in Sunderland. Only a 20min walk to the Stadium of Light if you are going to the football. There is a great curry house just next door and a Wetherspoon across the road for breakfast. "

"Check-in was quick and easy as someone was at the desk but there were times I would have liked to ask a question of a staff member but there was no one around. I would also like to have had a suitcase stand rather than have it opened on the floor. I don't like to us the bed as a suitcase stand as the suitcase is not particularly clean."

"The room was very small, hardly an apartment. It was filthy. The floor was disgusting. The shower did not drain. The blinds were broken. The lift was out of order for the duration of our stay. The smell of cannabis was slightly better than the smell of body odour and dirty clothes which pervaded the corridor to our room. Have nothing good to say about this property. "

"The Area is quiet and was handy for us. as a group of 6 however, there was a Nest of Ants in kitchen and Bathroom which made us feel uncomfortable when cooking food. Pots & pans weren’t in the best condition. Big Holes in wall. Felt very untidy and unclean. Since checking out I have tried to contact the host and had no response due to my concern "
