"The room was clean, comfortable and had a fantastic view. My first time to London and have no regrets staying at this hotel. It was worth the trip. Thanks to the staff."

"The location of this Hotel is excellent situated between Big Ben across the Thames next to the London Eye.. The room was clean, with a typical old English shower, slightly bigger than a phone booth. I thought the "suite" was designed poorly with the bathroom situated between the king bed on one side with a "roll out sofa bed" on the other, which was quite uncomfortable for my 71 year old body on the other side. I was traveling with a friend so the configuration isn't workable. When I made the booking I requested a room with twin beds. We asked to be moved to just a twin bed but was told we were ungraded to a suite; our request was denied and was told they would split the king bed by about 6 inches. If you want personal privacy this hotel is not for you. If you are traveling with a small family it provides privacy you would like. As a single traveler usually with friends and not a significant other this hotel is not for you. A thumbs up on the breakfast buffet and kitchen staff and an ice machine on every floor,"

"Lit très confortable, literie et oreiller. Bonne grandeur de chambre. Personnel très courtois. Bien insonorisé mais on peut entendre la douche des autres chambres, ce qui est commun, sur rue très tranquille. Bon déjeuner et complet. J’aurais apprécié quelques items additionnels dans la chambre: boîte de mouchoir, une poubelle dans la chambre en supplément à celle dans la salle de bain. Séjour de 4 jours, bien localisé, proche de plusieurs différentes lignes de métro et bus à la sortie de l’hôtel. Juste dommage d’avoir à payer 15 lires pour avoir la chambre plus tôt que l’heure du check in alors que la chambre est prête."

"A good hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Covent Garden and Westminster, steps from the Embankment tube. Worth booking for the location alone. Staff were attentive and kind. The hotel feels polished and upscale without being stuffy or dated, and the basics, air conditioning and shower, all worked as they should. A few downsides: the elevator was slow, leading to some long waits. Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors. The standard double bed was two twin mattresses pushed together, which was genuinely uncomfortable. I’m not usually picky about beds, but this was bad. No view either unless you pay extra for a river-view room. Would visit again, but in a different room."
