I grew up not far from here and still live local. I've seen the good and bad not just the razzle dazzle props intended for tourism. I can honestly say Strasburg is one of my favorite places to get away n just relax for awhile.

If your looking for a place to eat I recommend the Fireside Tavern. They have a very diversified menu. My wife is gluten free and there were great options. They had crab cakes that would make Maryland proud!. I had prime rib it was great.

Beautiful area and countryside. Hotel is very near the Sights and Sounds theater. Katie's Kitchen is a great place for breakfast.
