"Extremely uncomfortable bedding... the worst I have experienced in my world travels. Staff was fake-friendly. For example, I requested an additional pillow and was asked why I needed it. The indoor POOL is NOT part of their property! Don't be fooled by the images and captions. It is a neighboring property, use for a fee $, and limited hours. Room & hotel were very clean. Food was good. Hotels grounds were nice. "

"Hotel Fontanelle is in a small town. There is a superb restaurant (pizzeria notte) and the surrounding area is quintessential Italy. Just check your bus schedule, and be patient with the late arrivals. "

Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. "Lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant providing exceptional breakfast choices. Along with lunch and dinner I can't fault the food. Friendly staff and room cleaned to a very high standard every day. Surrounded by wonderful scenery, and only 20 minutes from Imola, the perfect peaceful location to explore the area. Hopefully back next year...A+++++"
