"My room was very tidy and updated - definitely exceeded my expectations. We're not talking Ritz here, but everything was in nice shape. It's owner-operated, and he was excellent - I had some travel complications and he made all the concerns I had about checking in/etc. disappear. Nice guy too. Parking is just outside the door like you'd expect in a classic Motel. There's a great breakfast joint next door that's reasonable and tasty (and has gluten free options too, which was an pleasant and unexpected surprise). All in all, very happy with everything and happy to support a small business!"

"We loved our time at Creekside Hideaway II, it was the perfect set up for us and our 3 children (11, 9, and 2). When we usually visit an area like Maggie Valley, I feel like I need to find fun things to do nearby to fill up the days - but that pressure was relieved this past weekend because the cabin was so nice. We spent much more time at the cabin than we have on past trips, and spent most of our time playing in the stream or on the playground equipment, and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Our kids have already made us promise that we’ll try to return to the Creekside Hideaway II sometime soon, and it’s great to know that we can book with such a friendly and responsive host. We’re looking forward to next time!"

"We really loved this cabin. The views were amazing. The host was always available to answer questions. "

"The house was great with amazing views, especially at sunrise. They have a great collection of games for families to play and the communication was good. The location is very convenient and just a short drive to the ski slopes in the area.We had one issue where one of the beds appeared to have dirty sheets when we arrived but we contacted the host and they told us where could find clean spare sheets."
