"A most excellent hotel which faces the sea front at Weston-Super-Mare and is less than ten minutes walk from the town centre. Staff are very friendly, most helpful and professional. Breakfast is hot and superb with a wide variety. Dinner is excellent with different choices each evening. Often good English food, such as Hake, Turkey and roast vegetables etc. The starter choices are good and the startersoups are very tasty indeed. The puddings are splendid. Tea and coffee is included in the price for both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is which is kept meticulously clean, is spacious, and has nice furniture, lighting, is well decorated, has nice pictures and lovely flower presentations. It should be noted that some rooms only have a bath with no shower, so if one wants a shower ensure this is available when you book. Currently the lift is out of order, as it is an old lift and apparently a part needs to be made. Staff will carry luggage to and from rooms. Nice bar lounge, with good seating areas, but drinks prices expensive.We will be returning in July. Weston-Super-Mare frontage is flat and idea for those of less mobility. Tuesday evening was Simon Kelly, a vocalist - an amazing voice."

"Very enjoyable stay. The hosts couldn't do enough for us, from providing us with a takeaway cup of tea whilst waiting to check in, to swapping rooms for us. The hotel was well situated and a bus stop just down the road. The breakfast was delicious, piping hot and hot plates too which is a rarity. Another great idea was putting your room number & mobile number in your car windscreen, so you could contact the relevant person to move their car if you were blocked in. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again."

"Top floor apartment which has almost panoramic views of Weston Super Mare. Clean and well equipped throughout. The position is at the end of Weston, just after the Marine Lake and up a hill. It was (for those that do not mind walking) around a 20 minute walk to the new Pier. Ann Marie was very helpful when questions were asked, but there were no problems with the apartment. The only downside was that the lift did stop working on the Wednesday and had not been repaired by the time we left. But this young fit 67 year old and his not quite so young and fit 73 year old wife managed the stairs without the need of CPR!"
