"We had the best stay at the Broadway Hotel! The location is perfect, right in the heart of town and within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. Our room was cute and cozy, and we especially loved the bar with its roaring wood-burning fireplace. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely bonus, and the convenient on-site parking made everything so easy. Would absolutely recommend!"

"Very pet friendly"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel area was dated and rough round the edges but clean. My bed had a dent down the centre so prominent it felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Over all, for the location it was good value for money."

"Building work ongoing so views were quite interrupted, music from reception echoed in our room making it difficult to sleep"

"Had a very nice stay. Room and bathroom were very clean and breakfast was lovely. Great variety! Also ate in the bar the first evening and the tempura fish was very tasty. Very peaceful sleep in the Peartree Mews room. Hotel grounds and gardens are so nice with the view across fields. Staff were very friendly too Would definitely stay again."

"This was our second stay at The Slaughters Inn. Such a lovely place with a beautiful atmosphere and a delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again!"

"Friendly staff. Charming and characterful old coaching inn with the expected quirks. Good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas. Good evening meal and breakfast. Parking available outside or across from the hotel."

"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"Very characterful… good breakfast"

"The room I was assigned was on the outside, where workmen were updating rooms, so parking was crowded and noisy. This entrance was also used by deliveries, some arriving before 6am. I would have preferred to be advised of this renovation prior to booking as I would have chosen another hotel. The room itself was fine, and the staff were friendly enough."

"Our luxury double room was spacious, clean and kept clean by staff each day. The only comment we would make was that the continental breakfast was not exciting and therefore somewhat disappointing for my wife who does not eat the cooked option."
