"Allowed to check in early. Had to pay for parking but we were given an extended time free of charge. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Gym was excellent for a hotel. Pool was lovely and clean! Breakfast in the morning was great and excellent service. Hotel is slightly dated but has an old school vibe so it suits it. All amenities available in the room. Comfortable nights sleep "

"The room was bright and airy. We put the radiator on to warm the room up which warmed it up really quickly. The shower was really fast and bathroom was lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable, overall the room was perfect."

"Very restful hotel. Very comfortable, with good atmosphere. Exellent breakfasts. Good location for city access without all the noise of the centre. One small peoblem: the shower in room 19 has a pumped hot water system which swamps the cold water feed. The pressures need balancing, as the shower tends to scald."

Buffet breakfast was usual hotel fayre but there was plenty of choice and we particularly liked the Danish pastries, let down slightly by cold plates and only one hot drink machine "
