Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for old world charm, and to find a piece of history in the Wrexham area. The people the service and the food are top-notch. Highly recommend."

"Property was located right in the heart of Wrexham, with easy/convenient walk from the train station. Numerous bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Staff was extremely friendly on check-in. Room and bed were very comfortable for my two night stay. Bathroom fixtures were a little dated, however, everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the bar/restaurant but looked like a nice place. Wonderful hotel, especially for the price. Won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in town."

"Absolutely stunning stay! This place is so peaceful and really allows you to ‘switch off’. The cottage was lovely, very spacious and homely. The only niggle we would have to mention would be the bed which wasn’t very comfortable at all (sorry) and good luck if you’re taller than 5’9! Other than that everything was really lovely and would definitely recommend. We would love to visit again if the bed was replaced for one that was bigger and more comfortable 😊"

"My partner and I had the most incredible weekend at The Peacock Pod, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The pod was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a warm, inviting feel to it.The space is so cosy and secure, with a fenced-in area that gives you complete privacy and a real sense of peace. Every little detail has been thought of to make it as comfortable as possible, and it truly felt like a little retreat from the outside world. A really thoughtful touch was that on arrival, there was bread, butter, and milk in the fridge, which made us feel so welcome and was perfect for settling in.One of the biggest highlights for us was the hot tub—it was simply perfect! Whether we were soaking in it during the day or in the evening, it made the whole experience feel extra special. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.A huge thank you to Louise, who was so lovely, kind, and welcoming. Her communication was fantastic from start to finish, making everything so easy and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and that warmth really made our stay even more special.We had the most wonderful time and made memories we’ll cherish forever. I will definitely be returning again, and I highly recommend The Peacock Pod to anyone looking for the perfect peaceful escape!Thank you! "
