"Early check in was happily accommodated - all very friendly and efficient. The room was smart and immaculate and the cooked breakfast was everything you could want."
"Absolutely fantastic stay. Staff are fantastic. Especially the lovely lady at breakfast. Perfect for out little puppy. Lots of lovely grounds for walks. A perfect beautiful stay. We will be back. "
"Lovely old buildings and very friendly and helpful staff, with nice atmosphere. My room bit tired and could be cleaner, but I appreciate how difficult to get staff and not a pricey establishment! "
"It was a lovely place to stay as we were up for a family wedding nearby there were 6 of us so we all fitted there comfortably. Our host was very nice and welcoming and there were a few treats for us to use as well which were very welcome.Would definitely stay here again for longer next time for a holiday, pretty central for visits to locations to view.Very happy with the facilities and location very quiet even though it is a working farm."
"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy.
We had some trouble finding the accomodation, so make sure you double check the address beforehand, but Lynda was a dear guiding us there and was always available for questions during the stay.
The area is great as well, with a lot of...

"Lovely room with modern facilities and period features. Friendly, welcoming staff (and cat) and good, wholesome food. Quiet, peaceful location, central for many interesting places within an hour's drive. Would highly recommend."
"Great place to stay, parked motorbike at the front to the right, all good. Nice ales and food was very good. Breakfast was made by a dedicated chef who has worked there for 15 years. Cannot find fault. Only minor thing was the bathroom was smelly in the Horse room, maybe a sewerage leak or something, but looks spotless. "
"
We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. Relaxing armchairs in our room with amazing views of the rolling hills and valley at the front of the house, perfect for switching off with a glass of wine.
Bruce and Kelly are the most generous and hospitable hosts, and went above and beyond for us - I forgot some dresses in the wardrobe when we checked out - a potential disaster as they were for a dinner that night and I hadn’t realised I had left them. Bruce and Kelly phoned me to let me know, then drove them over to the restaurant 40 mins away so we wouldn’t be late for our dinner.
Not to mention the delicious cooked breakfast, the tastiest homemade cookies in our rooms, fantastic wine and drinks selection in the honesty bar, and recommendations for places to eat, walk and visit. Would give 10 stars if we could. "
"All good - food very good and cooked to order. The only let down with this property is the wifi which is absolutely terrible both speed (all over) and signal wise in the bedrooms."
