"Second time staying there, lovely old place. Bar well stocked, dinner and breakfast excellent. Given single room at top of hotel - stonking hot but supplied with fan which helped. Bathtub comfortable but needs a grab rail on the wall for those of us less abled to help us climb out. Otherwise can’t fault it!"

"No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. "

"I booked on behalf of one of our engineers, who found the cabin to be very dirty with little to no hot water, and infestation of insects and no WIFI as mentioned in the accommodation list. The front door also would not close or lock due to the door being so badly warped, and I had to book alternative accommodation as it was not suitable. "My husband, dog and I absolutely loved our five night break at stable cottage which was clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the extra touches of welcome card, flowers and a few treats for us and even the dog! Really thoughtful.. Thanks for making this a wonderful stay."
