"We had stayed at SH decades ago when our kids were little. I chose to revisit with my wife last weekend to celebrate my 64th birthday. The hotel has a slight quirkiness due to its personal service but that is a big part of its charm. We had a beautiful meal in Aquitaine and lovely breakfasts in the bistro. Our room in the annex was a beautiful, spacious, spotless room with SuperKing bed, fabulous en-suite with special shower-bath. All the staff have genuine and generous interest and care for the guests. The hotel location in sleepy Seaview is perfect for us. We did a fantastic walk along the coast from the SH one day with a packed lunch from Lily’s Cafe 100m up the High Street. We were also able to visit many lovely places on the island, all within a maximum of 1hr drive. We’ll be back."

"The Green House offers a great location as base camp for our hiking vacation. The house is large, clean, airy, with lots of natural light & a good size patio garden. Conveniently located for both quiet relax & access to the shops, bars&restaurants of Bembridge which itself is a very nice/gentille village."

"This property is one of the best we have stayed in as a family. Everything providedwas of top quality.Property was spacious and had every 'mod con' you could wish for, all the family enjoyed the holiday, from the 13 & 15 year olds to the two in their 70's - (me and my husband). "House very welcoming. Light and bright as we walked in. A larger house than you’d think from the outside. Bed very comfortable and equipped well. Host Justine was wonderful in every way. St Helens was perfect, a quiet friendly village with cricket on the green most days. The local pub does top notch pub food. Garden was great for our dog. Overall we return happy and rested."

"We were lucky to find this spot. St Helens and Bembridge has some of the nicest beaches, cafes, and restaurants on the island. It’s perfect if you want a location that’s less busy. The house was huge for a family of 4 and a dog. You can easily fit 6. Nice garden and the kitchen diner was a good size. The only downside is the extractor not working, I would have been useful to at least have the light while cooking."
