"What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again."

"Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen."

"Absolute gem of a place. Sarah is very hospitable and has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was superb. We loved our stay and would love to come back one day thank you."

"Great hotel close to the hall if you’re staying for an event. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Nice touch being allowed late check out as no one else was booked in the room that day. Would stay again"

"David and Rebecca were very welcoming. The room is nice and light and a lovely breakfast. Parking is easy."

"Very comfortable, quiet suite with everything I needed for an overnight stay. Thank you."

"Lovely staff upon arrival."

"Room, staff and breakfast were great, but sadly would not stay again due to the noise. Bottle pick up loading empty bottles right outside our room at 5am, the noise was awful, and road pretty loud too."

"All I needed"

"Lovely staff and very clean room."

"Great to stay on site during scarefest especially with very wet windy weather. Lovely breakfast following day"

"مكان هادئ وكأنك في منزلك"

"Lovely place, Lovely owners Shame that I was there for a short time Wifi Speed wasn't that bad, but an overall fantastic place"

"Room was as expected for a hokiday inn express. Though doors could have a "soft close" element to them, so that early risers do not disrurb others unintentionally. Check in was fine, staff member could have been more attentitive - but heyho! The other recorion person (male) was full of beans and realky set a great welcome for the cistomer next ro me.... Bar staff good and efficient in service."

"Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it."

"Firstly this is in no way a reflection of the staff who are fantastic.... This hotel is so tired it's awful. I understand it's old but thats no excuse for zero maintenance. 2 double sockets in the room, both had only one working properly. The safety procedure sheet from the back of the door was on the floor next to the broken coat hanger. The bed base has an awful stain on it which is right in view. 2 windows have no curtains. There is only one chair in the room, which is falling apart, and no...
