"Great view. excellent service. Very courteous staff. However this is an older property under renovation. I did not know about renovations until at the property. Many features did not work. No swimming pool (outdoor) despite being advertised on Expedia and all sites. Room safe did not work and was not bolted Room heating did not work since there was leakage from balcony door There was no lobby to walk, mingle since everything was under construction "

The owner is operating as a front desk for the deluxe houseboats at Dal lake as earmarked by the houseboat owners' association. So when u book via expedia with Dandoo he only acts as a mediator and gets u a boathouse accommodation on behalf of boat owner. "Excellent location!. You get to see all of beautiful Dal lake from a hill. This is the only hotel where you get to see whole of Dal lake in its serene setting as well as most of Srinagar. Property was well maintained with beautiful flora. Staff is very respectful. Yes, I would visit it again."
