"This property is a castle located on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. It features a pool, hot tubs and sauna as well as a beautiful dining area. Despite being an old castle, there is a well functioning ventilation system that eliminates any musty or moldy smell one might expect. It is clean and in good repair but not at the expense of old world charm"

"Quirky property, Castle divided into numerous rental properties with large well tended garden and great views of the Umbrian countryside. You definitely need a car if staying here unless your sole purpose here is walking! The road up is very steep with lots of bends, don’t let that put you off though, it’s well worth it when you arrive. Pool is excellent with lots of sun beds and always quiet during our stay, 300m walk and toilets provided too! The accommodation is acceptably clean but...

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
