"Although this hostel is a quite cheap place to stay at I absolutely recommend you to think twice before booking. In the shared room THERE ISN'T AC. During summer it's impossible to sleep. If I knew about it before I would stay at a different place for sure. I cannot explain lack of such fundamental deivce in Italy as AC, especially in this region. Bathroom has only access to cold water. Actually it's literally freezing temperature so good luck taking a shower, eventhough outside is 35-40...

"Where to start. I travel extensively and this little gem has been one of my absolute favorite places to stay. The location is excellent and close within 10-20 minute drive of all the wonderful little towns around. Felipe greeted me with a glass of local sagrantino wine and walked me around the borgo giving me the history of the place and it added to the charm of the place. The entire place is extremely clean. You definitely need a car if staying here unless your sole purpose here is walking! "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
