"Beautiful classic old hotel in Wengen. Close to the railway station. Good buffet breakfast. We got an upgrade to a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. Electrical could do with upgrading although everything worked. Staff were very pleasant"

Shuttle to/from train station on day of arrival/departure was convenient. Spiez is a wonderful little town. This is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at, and we WILL definitely stay here again! "

"Very nice quiet location it at the same time close to everything. The river view room was much smaller than we expected but excellent view. We even watched people jumping off the bridge. The self laundry facility was an added bonus. But the staff are not quite familiar with buses allowed on the guest card. We were kicked off 106 and told 102-104 are the only valid buses. Something to be verified before j make plans."

"It was a great stay. Perfect location with a beautiful lake across the street and very close to the bus stop that can take you straight to the train station. The host is great, and the breakfast is so great - lots of options!"
