"My partner and I (and our dog) stayed at Gemma’s lovely cottage and we couldn’t be happier! Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!"

"Absolutely brilliant stay in a wonderful apartment. Great location, short walk from main area, the apartment is very modern and comfortable and a great place to base yourself for the sights. Everthing you need and very cosy, but with plenty of space for 5 of us. Grratvto come home to after busy days in York. Thanks for having us!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "We had a great stay in this idealic little village with a pub literally across the road. The location was perfect to explore Yorkshire. Pam & Richard were very welcoming and available but left us to ourselves which we appreciated. The house was warm, the shower hot and the bed comfy. All that you could want. "
