Top South London Hotel Reviews
LSE Bankside House - Campus Accommodation
10/10 Excellent
"The location is perfect right behind Tate Modern and a short walk across Millennium bridge to St. Paul's. In a what felt to be a safe area. The room was larger than expected and the water pressure and heat of the shower was better than in some much more expensive hotels. The breakfast is definitely with staying here for. Where else do you get a room with a fantastic breakfast for such a cheap price in the middle of London? Full cooked with so many options, usual cereals, pastries, pancakes, waffles, cheese and meat, fruit. The star for me was the mango frozen yoghurt. Pure heaven! Yes, the room was stifling, though it had been in the high 30's throughout the day and the air conditioning units on the Tate rumbled throughout the night but I did sleep."
Park Plaza London Waterloo
10/10 Excellent
"The Park Plaza was fabulous in terms of the amenities, spacious rooms, designer very cool bathroom and location (Especially if you are travelling to Waterloo regionally or sightseeing nearby. I really loved my stay and as a solo female traveller it was great to be in a 'hotel' with first class amenities and services. The pool, sauna and spa with spacious high end appointed rooms make this a very cool place to stay. It is bustling and seems to cater primarily for families, people on business and those on the go when I was there for holiday/get away. The staff were nice but it is busy and they don't offer a personalised service at least that was my experience given the high turnover. The bar downstairs is more on the expensive side and I didn't see a menu to dine there - there may be a bar menu. There is a pub across the road spilling over with locals but the hotel is a little remote from shopping or anywhere to eat etc. There is an array of cool bars and places to eat Blackfriars Road London which is a short 15 minute stroll. Don't leave without taking a photo against the floral installation 'Collect moments not things"... little things like that make this hotel just that little bit cooler. No fridge, coffee machine (from memory). I don't think there is a gym."

Novotel London Waterloo

"Property very nice. Our room was stuffy. Could not control air conditioner. Staff brought in a fan which helped shower controls difficult to adjust would highly recommend this hotel!"
The Hoxton, Southwark
10/10 Excellent
"Clean, small rooms and excellent bathrooms. Stylish and convenient hotel. I stayed with my partner and our two older children were in a room next door. The neighborhood is quiet and was close to the tube for heading into central London. Highly recommend!"
